CDD Society is pleased to announce its next training on ‘Towards Sustainable Community Based Sanitation’. The five day training will be conducted in Bangalore from 23rd – 27th August 2010.
The training will focus on the basic concept of Community Based Sanitation, its implementation steps and the challenges faced during implementation process. The process of community mobilisation and involvement, techniques required for the promotion of health and hygienic practices and the necessity and importance of sanitation will all form part of the training course. The training will also emphasize on the management aspects of implementing sustainable community based sanitation programmes.
The training modules will be a combination of theoretical sessions as well as field visits to implemented community based sanitation projects where the participants will get an opportunity to interact with the community themselves.
The training course fee is Rs. 20.000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) which includes training kit and materials, boarding and lodging during the training days.
