International Engineers’ Training on DEWATS successfully conducted

CDD Society conducted a training programme for the 7th batch of engineers on DEWATS from 9th through 14th May 2011 at the Centre for Advanced Sanitation Solutions (CASS), Bangalore.


The group of participants comprised of eleven people from four countries who are involved in technical sectors like green construction or architecture but are also in the field of vocational training.

During the six days programme, knowledge and skills regarding the planning and design as well as the implementation and operation of DEWATS were imparted successfully.

The training was held by CDD Society’s trainers having rich knowledge in the field of DBNS. The resource persons imparted theoretical knowledge clubbed with practical experience for easy and better understanding of the DEWATS concepts.

Through interactive lecture sessions, field visits and the analysis of case studies, the trainees understood both - the principles of the DEWATS modules and the different sectors of application.

Thanks to all the trainees and trainers for six pleasant days full of fruitful discussions, valuable inputs and constructive knowledge exchange.
