DEWATS Engineers’ Training from 16th - 21st of April 2012

The Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination (CDD) Society will conduct a training programme for DEWATS Engineers at the Center for Advanced Sanitation Solutions (CASS) in Kengeri, Bangalore from the 16th – 21st of April 2012.


The 6 days fully residential training programme aims to introduce and impart engineering skills to professionals for designing and implementing decentralised wastewater treatment systems.

Potential participants for this training course are engineers (sanitary, environmental, civil, etc.), architects, wastewater management practitioners and other professionals from government and private organisations with a minimum of 1-2 years of prior work experience in the water, sanitation, infrastructure and/or waste management sector.

As the seats are limited, CDD Society will screen and select the most eligible applicants. The Training fee is Rs. 15,000 only. The training fee covers boarding and lodging, a training kit, all material and local travel. The training fees are subsidized by Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA) to support CDD Society’s Capacity Building Programme.
