It is located at Kodathi Village off Sarjapur Road, Bangalore East. Its mission is to provide a joyful learning environment that empowers children to reach their educational and personal potential while nurturing their self-confidence and self-esteem. The goal is to provide a continuity of education from Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade.
The School is funded by the Sriram Educational Trust. The President of the Trust requested CDD Society to provide a sanitation solution in the form of DEWATSTM unit to treat domestic wastewater generated by the School. Consequently, a DEWATSTM unit of 25 cum capacity was constructed to meet their wastewater treatment needs.
The School is reusing the treated wastewater for landscaping. The institution also maintains an agricultural centre promoting improved agricultural and environmental literacy. Hence the sludge generated could be composted and used in its agricultural centre.
The sewer lines are split into two segments to the east and west directions of the building respectively. Each segment connects the respective side of the building, which is then connected to a common manhole. The wastewater generated from the 25 toilets and 13 urinals from the ground floor is presently conveyed to an Integrated DEWATSTM system (primary, secondary and tertiary treatment modules are integrated within one structure with partition walls bifurcating the three modules. However, the DEWATSTM is designed for the projected population of 1000 users including the additional 2 floors of the School. The treated wastewater is then stored in a collection tank and pumped to the sprinkler irrigating the west side of the landscape area.
