BORDA offers subsidies on all training programmes of CDD Society

CDD Society’s Capacity Building Programme aims at creating a critical mass of quality service providers to scale up the implementation of basic needs services in order to contribute to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and CDD’s own goal of reaching 1 million people with decentralised basic needs services (DBNS) by 2015.

CDD Society’s Capacity Building Programme offers practical and hands-on trainings and orientation courses on specific topics under its DBNS programme. Customised on-demand training programmes are offered to the government departments and institutes as per their requirements. The training portfolio includes a range of technical, social and management topics such as trainings on DEWATS engineering, sustainable community based sanitation, citywide sanitation planning and so on.

The Training Calendar for 2011 was announced recently which highlights the training programmes that have been scheduled for this year. In order to create a large pool of qualified and certified multiplication agents who in turn, become service providers of DBNS, BORDA is extending a special support by offering 25% subsidy on all training programmes for one year. This entails that the prospective participants will pay 25% lesser for the training course fees than in the past two years. Please refer to the attachment to know the details of the training fees.

Do not miss the opportunity of getting access to a world of varied knowledge on decentralised basic needs services.
