Training Programme for Site Supervisors at Mandavaikuppam

 In collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Ltd. (RGRHCL), Karnataka and Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association (BORDA), Germany, CDD Society orgainsed a 1-day Training Programme  on DEWATS for Site Supervisors. The 1-day Programme was conducted on 18th June at Mandavaikuppam, Marakanam and Villupuram at the construction site in a permanent settlement for the tsunami-affected community.



 The Training Programme consisted of 5 sessions including both theoretical and practical aspects. A total of 8 participants attended the training programme. The trainees were from different levels of education and with diverse professional backgrounds: Environmental Consultants, Civil Engineers, Microbiologists and persons involved in community development. 
Each session of the training programme covered critical functions of Site Supervisors which was followed by question and answer sessions. The training was imparted by an experienced team from CDD Society and its partners. At the end of the Programme, Certificate of Participation was distributed to the participants.
