Success stories
(1)Slum federations, CBOs and Dwani Women federations with a population of 40000 people
(2)Literacy rate of slum children improved from 3% to 96.5%, many of students from slums study in colleges and professional courses, 49 slums out of 56 made totally child labour free - through children education projects.
(3)More than 500 street children mainstreamed through various street children programmes - through street children programme.
(4)Child rights awareness in more than 100 rural areas of 3 districts and child rights forum active in 3 districts, effective dissemination and advocacy - through child rights projects.
(5)Contageous diseases controlled, slums cleaner, people take responsibility for health, IMR reduced from 35% to 1%; 99% of children immunized, improved hygiene behavior at home & community - through health programme.
(6) About 5000 women actively involved in community decision making, women development, getting basic facilities from govt.
(7) More than 3000 women improved their socioeconomic conditions through self help group and microcredit programmes.
(8) More than 1000 youth trained in various livelihood skills and 45% of them secured better job and status
